his response to my response.

I thank you for your prompt response however;

If that is your real name(please Brokey McPoverty?)  try putting REAL FACTS about BLACK PEOPLE doing positive things!   The inventions, creations, discoveries that have been kept secret far too long from AFRICAN AMERICAN or BLACK people.    Try teaching them about Crispis, George Washington Carver, President Obama, Malcolm, Harriett Tubman or many of the positive people.

REMEMBER:  If A people do not know where they have been and or accomplished they will never have the self esteem to improve themselves.    If you follow history this is the practice of many nations to keep certain peoples ignorant by allowing drugs and violence to remain in cetrtain neighborhoods.   The indians were kept drunk and ignorant(trusting fools as they were) so that the land could be stolen.

All I have seen on your site are back hand slaps towards us or at best comic relief,
HOWEVER NO LEGITIMATE FACTS.   YET YOUR WEB SITE PLAINLY STATES THIS!!!

As a Black Man or so you say;  You should not promote the usual bias that non-blacks have of us.   you are just adding fuel to the fire!   And what makes it worse is that we are helping without really knowing that we are the brunt of our own jokes…How sad.

Remember:   If you are not part of the solution them your are part of the problem.

If you were attacked, almost run down with a car by a group of caucasians saying “Kill The NIgger” then you too might feel the same way as I do!

I will add I do have caucasian friends who understand my opinion and my view of this web site.
Funny how the person who sent me this web site (A psychologist ) after I voiced my opinion to her looked at the site very differently and now feels as I do.

Your site says “LITTLE KNOWN BLACK HISTORY FACTS”

I SAW NO FACTS ONLY SLURS SO EVEN YOUR SITE DOES NOT HONOR ITS NAME!!!

NOW POST THIS ON YOUR SITE AND TAKE A SURVEY FROM EVERYONE WHO ENTERS YOUR SITE TO SEE IF THEY BELIEVE AS I DO

  2. Yes, I agree. Humor has no place in advancing social justice; in fact its logical endpoint can be only fascism. Every social critic is fond of citing the fact that Hitler came to power through democracy, but few recall that this man ended every marathon speech with a “got yer nose” perpetrated on the nearest diplomat, to mammoth laughter. In fact, the first vote he ever won was in an amateur comedy night competition as the one-man improv comedy troupe “Just in the (Mu)Nich of Time”.

Also, I resent the fact that your use of the “Mc” suffix implies that people of scotch-Irish decent are poor and unthrifty with finance. Refer to Gangs of New York, my friend! And I’ll have you (and all my detractors!) know that haggis-based currency will rise again!

But seriously, you are one of the most upstanding, thoughtful BlacK MeN I have ever known. Keep up the good work.

  3. Oh yes, the Mac is back!

  5. first let me apologize ahead of time because my comments are going to be all up and through this entire “ordeal”.

first let me starts with this quote:
If A people do not know where they have been and or accomplished they will never have the self esteem to improve themselves.

While I am a firm believe in strength in numbers and so forth by no means is it wise to equate your shortcomings or even capabilities with that of another person.
There are both successful and unsuccessful people in every race. (Success being a relative term.)
Those people mentioned before (George Washington Carver, President Obama, etc) are accomplished in their own measure and not that of a people.

And those who will “surpass” them will do so by what they decide their capabilities are.

May be the problem for those who are not “successful” is that they measure themselves as to what others have done.

If we were all to do that, I doubt any progress would be made at all.

  6. Harpo....who dat woman?

Can I ask why your detractor thinks that the name Brokey McPoverty automatically indicates Black people?
So no other race is broke (let’s look at entire 3rd world nations) and experiences bouts of randome ridiculousness? (Rush Limbaugh and Lady Gaga anyone?)
Look around my overanlyzing, extremley anal, homophobic(just figured I would throw that one in there), toxic, old negro apiritual singing friend…..
Sillyness doesn’t have a patent and I adore this website. For those of us with actual goals (and brainy jobs in the IT field), this is a great random distraction o remind us from whence hood craziness we came.
Get off your soapbox about this website and creat a blog of your own that extolls the virtue of home made peanut butter (Geoarge W. Carver) and the underground railroad.
Let’s see how many hits that gets.
